II EATING HABITS OF AN “IDLE” STUDENT AND “REGULAR” STUDENTS
1. Introduction
(1) Regular students
Here is an example of a typical college student. The students name is Mr. K. He lives alone, and he has a part time job at a restaurant. Generally speaking, college students have little money. Therefore many college students have to work. Mr. K’ s work covers his food costs. It is a big relief to him.
He belongs to a Karate club, so he gets home late. And he is tired. But he usually cooks. Most people use convenience stores, so I thought that he is of excellent character.

(2) An “idle” student
Here is an
example of an idle student. His name is
Mr. H. He lives alone. He is idle to the bone. It is obvious wherever he goes. There are
convenience stores near his flat and his college, and there are also video
shops. His hobby is sleeping, eating “J-league
chips” and looking at others’ cellular phones.
In addition, he is very fashionable. His rainbow pajamas are very
fashionable. They are his favorite.
However, his life is irregular.
He goes to bed at

3. 1 .Further Considerations
(About regular students)
Many Japanese college students work at part-time jobs.
That influences their eating habits very much. For example, K.O. works at a
part-time job at a restaurant, and he is boarded there. About 60% of the
Japanese students may eat lunch at a student cafeteria.
Their reasons are (1)price, (2)variety of dishes, and (3)everyone can get a
well-balanced meal there. Many students eat fast food and precooked Chinese
noodles at snack time and supper. That is, most cook meals in a short time.
In general, there is a tendency toward simple cooking.

3. 2. Further Considerations
(About an "idle" student)
An idle student often eats sweets. Because his character is idle, he
doesn' t cook of his own free will. Therefore he usually uses convenience stores. He
often buys potato chips. The reason why he eats sweets is that they can be
preserved and are reasonably priced. He doesn't eat much, so he always eats between
meals. Moreover he often skips breakfast. I thought that his eating
habits and nourishment are unbalanced. He had too many carbohydrates. And he had too few vegetables. If he continues these eating habits, he will soon be undernourished. He must improve his eating habits.
4. Conclusion
Mr. K basically
buys food at stores, and cooks for himself. He has only fair inclinations but,
he makes up for insufficient nutrition at the student dining room; we think his
meals resemble those of most university students. Mr. H eats lunch at the
student dining room too, but he doesn’t eat breakfast, finish his junk food or finish
other meals. Further, he hardly misses a

5. Conclusion (from Mr.H)
At first sight my nutrition seems unbalanced. But, I eat grasses and flowers. They are well-blended foodstuff. On the other hand, Mr.K’s food value seems better-balanced. But my level of grasses and flowers is higher than his. And these are real natural foods.
So, I beat him.
